Born and raised in Texas, April "DJ Wild Thang" Prentice has spent her life serving couples throughout the Dallas County and North Ellis County area—the same communities she proudly calls home and continues to serve today.
April's journey into the event industry began at just 21 years old when she discovered her passion for DJing. What started behind the music eventually grew into a lifelong career built on experience, creativity, and a genuine love for celebrating life's biggest moments.
Over the years while raising her family, April gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of the wedding and event industry. She has sold wedding gowns, worked in catering, spent eight years as a photographer, styled hair and makeup, coordinated events for a prestigious Dallas hotel, assisted in floral shops, and built a successful career with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Through Mary Kay, she developed her professional stage presence as a guest speaker, earned the title of Sales Director, and even qualified for the company's coveted free car.
Entertainment has always been part of April's life. Coming from a family of singers and musicians, she has enjoyed a karaoke career spanning more than 20 years, bringing energy, confidence, and fun to every event she hosts.
Today, April is known for wearing many hats. Whether she's DJing a packed dance floor, officiating a heartfelt ceremony, planning every detail of a wedding, coordinating vendors, tending bar, or helping solve last-minute challenges, she approaches every role with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine care.

Most often, you'll find her creating fun, unforgettable memories at the photo booth, but her talents don't stop there. Whether she's serving as the official cake cutter, assisting with event décor, or lending an extra hand behind the scenes, Carrie approaches every task with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Carrie is also a professional pet sitter, which is a bonus to newlyweds while on their honeymoon. When you leave your fur babies in her care, she is sure to spoil them with lots of love.

As April's firstborn daughter, Dakota has grown up immersed in the wedding and event industry, developing a passion for creating unforgettable celebrations. As a Certified Wedding Coordinator, she brings organization, creativity, and a calm, confident presence to every event she serves.
The saying, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," couldn't be more fitting. Like her mom, Dakota has learned to wear many hats in the event industry, stepping into a variety of roles with confidence, professionalism, and a genuine love for serving others.
Dakota's creative journey began behind the camera, where she built eight years of photography experience, capturing life's most meaningful moments. Her artistic eye naturally carried over into baking, leading her to launch ElaCo Sweets, where she has quickly become known for her imaginative cake flavors, beautiful custom creations, and the one-of-a-kind interactive Cake Bar she designed from the ground up.

Heather's journey began with more than a decade of professional training at a well-respected local bakery, where she mastered the techniques of designing elegant tiered wedding cakes and developed the artistic skills that have become her signature. Today, she is known for transforming each couple's vision into a stunning edible centerpiece that is as breathtaking as it is delicious.

As a Certified Event Coordinator and trained DJ, Morgan has worked weddings, karaoke events, and a variety of special occasions, gaining experience both behind the scenes and in front of a crowd. Whether she's coordinating event details, assisting with DJ entertainment, managing the photo booth, helping with food service, or handling event setup and teardown, she's always ready to jump in wherever she's needed.
